Concussion Management
A concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury that occurs when the brain is jarred or shaken, usually as a result of a blow to the head or a sudden, forceful movement of the head. This can happen in various situations, such as sports-related impacts, falls, car accidents, etc.
Concussions can cause a range of symptoms including headache, dizziness, confusion, memory problems, nausea, sensitivity to light or noise and changes in mood or behaviour.
Through targeted assessments and personalized treatment plans, we aim to help alleviate symptoms and facilitate a safe return to daily activities, work, and sports. By employing evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation and gradual exertion programs, we prioritize your well-being and strive to optimize your recovery process.
